A loaded shotgun misfired in a Tobey house bedroom near Mt. Vernon killing eleven year old daughter of William Dunton. The boy, six, grabbed the gun while a sister tried to stop him. the blast tore away tongue and lower jaw. The girl died after hours of agonizing pain. coroner Tatman investigated. no hope of saving the child.
