Mitchell Parlor Orchestra Delights City Audience

The Mitchell Parlor Orchestra drew a medium sized, enthusiastic crowd with a varied program of overtures medleys and descriptive pieces. Solo and duet performances by C G Rathbun Miss May Presba Rex and Itoss Rathbun plus Carl Hover and N B Bennett received encores as the evening offered rare musical enjoyment. A river-waters discussion followed noting the Missouri river remains deep and navigable contrary to fears of drying up. Died of consumption Walker J Goldman 22 from Elkhart Ind. at Henry Parry’s home. F J Goldman travels to retrieve the body.

Parry expects 500 bushels fully matured.
