Man Found Near Bridge On Minnesota Street

A University student found a man, later identified as Charles Mott, lying south of the bridge on Minnesota Street around 7 am. He alerted Stephen Spink who assisted, and Chief Keith transported the body to the Plotner house for identification.

Charles Mott Dies After Delirium tremens

Charles Mott died at the Platner house between 9:30 and 10 on Tuesday morning after wandering off Sunday night and spending the night outdoors. He suffered exposure and delirium tremens, lingering through the morning. A Mitchell resident for an unknown period, he cleaned saloons and did odd jobs and was about 57. Relatives in the east were said to exist but could not be reached.
