Wolf Association of Guster County Trappers Employed
The Western Muster County Wolf association formed in 1893 has paid for the elimination of over 125 gray wolves killed July 12 to July 21, 1963. Members pay $29.10 per wolf and offer a bounty of 20 per gray wolf and 2 for coyotes. Meetings occur monthly at Thomas Ardeon’s ranch. elections in July. The territory covers all of Custer county west of the June line. Arthur Montgomery is president, W. R. Woods secretary, and Richardson treasurer.

Remarkable Case Of Shot Wound At Smithville Ranch
Samuel Estrick was shot in the waist by cattleman C Howard on his ranch near Smithville. The 16 gauge shell entered from the front, lodged near the liver, and was removed after probing. He survived after surgeons kept the wound open and bile drained, with recovery expected.

Fire at Aberdeen destroys livery barn killing horses
