Mitchell Catholic Academy Fund Drives Big Total

The Catholic Society of Mitchell reports subscriptions totaling $31,910 with a projection of $55,000 by evening to fund a new academy building on Second Avenue East and Lawler Street. Died of Severe Burns After Kitchen Fire Accident

Eva Hutchinson, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hutchinson, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 2 AM from burns suffered last Monday night while pouring kerosene into a nearly out stove. She wrapped a carpet around herself to move, walked three blocks to Frank Zard's home, then was taken to hospital. funeral plans not yet announced.
