Round Table and society entertain at private homes
The Standard Bearers hosted a Chinese themed eve ning at Mrs. Bobby’s home with about sixty young ladies and a baby girl versus baby boy skit. Members were welcomed with chopstick souvenirs and several new members joined the group. The Round Table club then held a late afternoon gathering at Mrs Butterfield’s residence with a four o clock program, fancy floral decor, a journey themed menu, tiny white ocean liner centerpieces and a travel themed toast sequence led by Mrs Hunt. An orchestra provided music and the event closed as the most delightful affair yet.
