The South Dakota Swine Breeders' Association held a swine sale at the stock pavilion with large county turnout. Poland China topped at 1538 for Queen Laurie, and Duroc Jerseys saw a high of 60. New Congregational Church Succeeds in Aurora Plans
After twenty five years the Congregational church contemplates a new frame building rather than remodeling. Pastor Bowdish has steered plans toward a church in Aurora Illinois with a modest budget and space for a prayer meeting room and a Ladies Aid Society area. The Ladies Aid Society agreed at Thursday’s meeting to raise funds as the project moves forward this year.
