A Brilliant Reception Opens with 180 Guests at Silsby Home
A large Saturday reception at the Geo A Silsby residence drew about 180 guests, who entered a festively decorated parlor under evergreen archway inscriptions of 1868 and 1893. The event featured light refreshments, music, and many well wishers including the Silsbys and Mrs. Smith, Walrath, Morrow, Rice, and Miss King, with an allure of social prominence.
