Prepared by the second year agriculture class under Prof. Joseph Hamilton, the display covers dairy and milk scores, a dairy buildings photo, and a farm map. The exhibit notes milk quality as very good with no bacerial counts above legal limits and butter fat within legal minimums.

NEW UTILITIES ACT DEFEATED IN HOUSE
The South Dakota House defeated the amendment to re-create the beaten public utilities measure by a large majority. Lobbyists from Mitchell and other cities aided the reversal after the House had favored the measure on February 6. A militiaman will receive 75 dollars on home status as the Senate passed the appropriation of 745 dollars for that purpose. The House resolution extending state land payment time from twenty to thirty years was adopted by the Senate, increasing farm ownership chances for small means.
