U-20 Sunk After Ram by Ariel as British Press Reports

Three British Merchant Ships Sunk by German Submarines

Early Tuesday three German submarines attacked British waters sinking the Tangistan off Scarborough with 37 of 38 crew missing after a midnight torpedo. The Blackwood fell off Hastings and the Princess Victoria off Liverpool within hours, as Britain faced renewed submarine warfare.

England built airship under MacMechen guidance in craft

The airship project in England under Thomas Rh. MacMechen aims to heat and expand balloon gas to rise faster than a Zeppelin. Two engines totaling 270 horsepower will power the craft, with four crew and ten hours of fuel supporting a 6900 pound airship and load.
