Mitchell hosts a Royal style Fourth of July with events at the courthouse grounds and Driving Park. Morning program features a Declaration read at 10, Main Street concert, and hydrant water displays. Afternoon races include horse and bicycle events with cash purses and trophies, under BR D Welch’s presidency and Geo J Logan secretary. Free lemonade and a CoroPaline will cap the day.

Paul Page Cleared in Fraser Self Defense Trial
