Grabs of Home Park Lot Sale Attract Big Crowd
A unique lot sale was held Monday afternoon in the Home Park addition in the west part of the city. F T Shawver conducted the sale with yards showing prices and buyers selecting at a set hour. A large crowd attended and many lots were sold at satisfactory prices. Home Park is seen as a future busy manufacturing area with several enterprises already started and more expected. The ground is favorable and several prime building sites were acquired.

Letcher Woman Died by Own Hand
Mrs Rose Bruckman a widow of Letcher South Dakota died after taking poison and shooting herself late Friday night. Her six year old daughter survived the poison. A short service was held at the house and the remains were taken to Wisconsin by her brother and sister Mr and Mrs Dahon. A note left by the deceased stated the cause of her act but was not made public.
