Commissioners discuss creating a distance tariff if Wells Fargo resists and consider minimum charges of 50 cents, up from 35. A separate request seeks a joint rate between Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul and Chicago and North Western, plus track connections to ease shipments in the western city.
