Death of Dr. G. T. McDonald in Mitchell at 84

Dr. G. T. McDonald died at his daughter Mrs. S. T. Greene’s home after a long illness at age 84. He served in the Mexican War surgical department and lived in Mitchell since 1887. Funeral services were held at his son in law S. T. Greene’s home conducted by Rev. J. H. Babcock with local pallbearers and music. Remains were sent to Upper Sandusky Ohio for final interment. Mrs. McDonald will meet two sons in Chicago for onward travel.
