Rotation of chaps urges corn rotation in South Dakota farming

Aberdeen leader J C Simmons spoke to the Aberdeen Commercial Club urging farmers to rotate crops and farm at least half their land in corn each year. A South of Fort Pierre storm last Saturday night sent wind damage across the prairie toppling several small buildings and shifting large barns. A two story house was pushed off its foundations and a large barn slid from its base, with the damage in that section described as severe.
