The Barnum and Bailey show is confirmed for Mitchell on Wednesday July 17 featuring three rings two stages and a quarter mile hippodrome with 300 artists. The program opens with Peace a Russo Japanese War allegory and includes sensational acts clowns hippodrome races elephants giraffes and exotic animals.

Beatrice DeWolf daughter of Mr and Mrs M DeWolf near Letcher married L R Jacobus in a ceremony at the DeWolf home performed by Rev Geo W Kilbon. The bride taught in Mitchell city schools and is highly regarded. The couple will visit Ortonville and Jamestown exposition before settling in Butler township on the Jacobus farm.
Port Byron New York resident Amos F King claims Bucklen s Aroha Salve cured a leg sore that troubled him for over 80 years. He reports now being eighty five and credits the product sold by Diehl Brown druggists for 25 cents with the dramatic improvement.
