The opening sale of the Live Stock Breeders' association drew many bidders as 74 swine from Duroc Jersey, Poland China, Chester White and Hampshire lines went on the auction block at the state pavilion in Mitchell. Attendees traveled by train for the event with a large crowd anticipated record prices.
