Widow and Four Children Slain at Mussellshell Ranch
Lewiston Montana January 22 a frightful crime at the Old Bottoms ranch. Mrs Slater a widow aged 40 and her four children aged up to 15 were murdered in the ranch house and the building set on fire. The house was destroyed and the bodies found in the ruins. The mother and two children were not badly burned while two children burned to a crisp. Motive unknown.
