Miller S D Dec 28 The hearing of Fred Kammel charged with killing his mother by poison was held Tuesday and he was discharged. His father Gustave Kammel on the same charge was postponed until January 2. The father said he would not have sworn out a warrant if he did not think it was his son arrested. The old man shook hands with the son and said he was sorry for the arrest. The son left town for home with no outward show of feeling toward his father. The coroner's inquest brought little evidence and the coroner's jury accused Gustave Kammer of the crime. The medical examiner found the oatmeal packet used for the fatal breakfast contained arsenic.
