Berry Funeral Here Impressive Service For Jack Berry

A large gathering attended the Berry funeral for Jack Berry with Father O R Miheny conducting rites. Friends and college associates paid respects at the church and home, featuring Yale pins and Eli honors. John Curtis Berry, 25, of Mitchell, died Feb 10 1948 from burns in a benzol explosion at Gutts Co Plant. He had worked in war munitions investigation and is survived by his parents a sister and brother plus uncles aunts and a grandfather. The service included honorary pallbearers and a community spirit topic for a later session.
