Legislature resumes as Rowley bills county commissioner residency
Pierre February 24. After a three day recess the legislature plans to resume this afternoon. Senator Rowley proposes a bill requiring county commissioners to be qualified electors and residents of their district to curb criticism of the current law. The fee bill for corporate certificates was amended to scale up to 40 dollars for larger capitals and is now in the house after passing the senate. Meanwhile the anti football measures fade as lawmakers chase other interests and a firearms ban for boys under sixteen stalls without champions.
