Marriage Bond Unites John Mrinke and Meena Oster
John Mrinke and Meena Oster, two young people from Hureka, traveled fifty miles by horse to wed. Kirke, a young blacksmith who courted Miss Oster, failed to win her parents approval, moved to Aberdeen, found work, prepared a home, and then obtained a license. They shared the ceremony Tuesday in Aberdeen before departing for Larekay.

Rapid City Estate Suit Resolves Wood Property Rights
Judge Lewis settles dispute over late Chauncey Wood's Rapid City properties after months of litigation. The will left rental income to Mrs. Bessie I. Wood, contested by sons Ben and Buell who argued Wood was of unsound mind and that the rentals violated perpetuity laws. The judge found Wood sane, allowed rents up to instruments and promised accrued rents to the date of a recent settlement. Property valued at about $25,000 goes to the sons.

Redding Ordered Back to Penitentiary for 1909 Fire
George Redding must return to the penitentiary after being rearrested on a charge of burning down a home in August 1909. He was tried in the circuit court, convicted, and will be sentenced again to the Sioux arts institution by Judge Rice.
