Stewart F Goodykoontz a survivor founder of Mitchell died at 9 30 pm at his home 217 North Duff Street after age related illness He was 80 years seven months and 29 days old He helped move the Firesteel shack to Mitchell and served as first president of First National Bank He is survived by his wife and three daughters Mrs Hammer Mrs McCartney and Mrs Kimball Funeral services set for Friday at his residence

Basement Entry Led To Repeated Store Robberies For Cash
A store was entered via the basement and robbed of about 15 dollars in cash plus goods. Previously the same location suffered a similar loss of around 20 dollars in cash and a large quantity of merchandise. No clues were left by the thieves.
