John Everson born April 15 1864 in Christiana Norway died January 28 1905 in Christiana after pneumonia and pleurisy followed by heart failure He had lived in Janesville Wisconsin and South Dakota with his wife Annie Johnson and five children He returned to Norway December 1904 for a Christmas visit and grew ill during his stay His funeral was held February 3 1905 he was described as a devoted husband father neighbor and church member with strong family ties and community regard
