Davison County Commencement Plans Detailed at Mitchell
Commencement exercises for rural Davison County schools set for Mitchell Court House on Saturday June 25 1892. Teachers urged to submit names of six expected graduates. graduation tests on May 28. grand procession at 10 am followed by a barnyard style picnic and 2 pm exercises in the courthouse. County exhibition to display penmanship maps drawings and work from May 11. premiums awarded across reader and grade categories with special exhibits and a map of South Dakota. Superintendent Harry L Bras promotes better schools and invites all to attend.
