Doctor Returns From Diphtheria Cases Across Sanborn County
Dr. Windle arrived Saturday from Blendon township to examine recent diphtheria cases. He found several infections with two likely fatal. Most families affected resided in Sanborn county outside his jurisdiction and were not quarantined.

Sunday’s showers limited church attendance but services continued at Presbyterian Meth odist Baptist Congregational and St Marys. New patents issued for timber culture in Aurora Moody Minnehaha Jerauld Sanborn Miner and Lake counties. A new Engineers division formed in Sioux City with officers named.
