Frank Bauer who died in Indianapolis last week was laid to rest at Salt Springs cemetery last Friday afternoon after services by Rev. J. E. Abbott. His cousin Miss Katie Stiving of Indianapolis accompanied the remains. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Hagan of Leavenworth Kansas and W. E. Bauer of Boise Idaho attended. Bauer will go to Indianapolis to settle affairs then return to his western home. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved.

A string of forged checks disrupted commerce this week. Ed McDonald bought 700 dollars of goods at the New York Rack using a ten dollar fake from Leonard's bank.
