Crowe Offers To Surrender In Cudahy Kidnapping Case

A letter received by Omaha Nebraska police from Pat Crown urges a fair jury trial and promises surrender if bond terms and jury verdict are observed. Verdict for M Nutt in Idaho mule damages case

D A Hancock sued David McNutt in Pocatello Idaho over mules sold as not glandered. The jury returned a verdict for the defendant McNutt after a trial held last week. The decision ended Hancock’s claim for damages stemming from the mule sale.

At Valley Forge Opera Story Presented At Maraball

A fall season attraction titled At Valley Forge will be staged at the Maraball Opera House on Monday October 21. Set around Valley Forge and Trenton at the end of the Revolutionary War, it follows a Washington captain and a Tory colonel’s daughter through a stirring tale ending with Yorktown. The production is praised for its logical plot and elegant, historically correct costuming.
