The 38 year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Grover G Ebrnman of South Lafayette died at 115 pm Wednesday from ptomaine poisoning. Parents took Hazel to a Wild West show Monday and believe popcorn from the circus caused her illness. She grew ill Tuesday night and died swiftly. Funeral planned at the residence this Friday afternoon.
Adolph Kunze of Belleville Til and Adolph Kunze of southeast town along with Herman Kunze of Malta Bend were killed in the Staunton Illinois wreck Tuesday night. Theo Kunze left for Staunton Wednesday to arrange the remains.
A long list of property transfers shows M J Alkire to W J Huff 94.96 acres in 16-52-19 and numerous deeds between individuals and banks for lots, blocks, and parcels across Slater Grand Pass Marshall Saline City and adjacent areas. Transfers include 7000 from Minnie M Clayton to Bank of Grand Pass and 1250 from Jno T Rector to Rosella Johnson, plus several hundred to thousands in value across multiple townships and sections.

The Staunton Illinois wreck obituary list includes Mrs C H Kane of Granite City and Carroll Logsdon of Porter Street. Some residents mistook a deceased Mrs Logsdon for Bertha Logsdon, but she lives in Chicago. clarification follows.

A Los Angeles Times office bombing causes many deaths as Portugal faces revolt and its king is prisoner.
Deputy sheriffs arrested John Klohrie a section hand of Grand Pass on an alleged attempted rape of his seven year old daughter. His wife and child are described as hopeless invalids. Preliminary trial was set for 10 a.m. Saturday before Squire Ferrill in Marshall.
