He had suffered prior strokes and had been a respected Saline County resident for 46 years. A Virginian by birth, he moved to Missouri long ago and settled in Cambridge district. Survived by his wife, several children including Virgie Jones, a Mar-bell High School student, and a lifelong friend of the deceased. Funeral arrangements not fully listed.

Will Aulgur Stabbed in Sweet Springs Tragedy
Will Aulgur was stabbed to death by Pens Benton during a late night fight on a Sweet Springs street after a Missouri Pacific train stop. The assault used a hot knife, and Aulgur died at about 6 am Sunday. Benton faced a preliminary hearing set for Friday morning in Marshall with Deputy Keith, Prosecuting Attorney Meschede, and Coroner Dr Connell present.
