Deaths Mrs Mary Baldwin and Col near Fairville

Mrs Mary Baldwin died at her home near Longwood on Tuesday. Her funeral was at the MoE Church south on Wednesday at 1 a m and she was laid to rest in Ridge Park cemetery. Col died at her home near Fairville on Thursday evening of last week at about 85. Her funeral was Saturday afternoon and she was laid to rest in Fairview. Over the last two years her mind declined but she remained a faithful old Christian lady liked by all who knew her. Three sons and three daughters survive.

He travels to dodge winter, hoping warm Democrats in Corinth. Weather this week hindered subscriber counts.

Revival at First Presbyterian Church Ends in Strong Growth

The First Presbyterian Church wrapped up a two week revival led by Rev. J El Abbott. Afternoon and evening sermons stressed accepting God’s invitation and condemning sin. Personal invitations and a prayer box at the door encouraged participation. Abbott left for Indiana with his mother in law Mrs Benden for a rest and to handle business.

George son of M P Mc Ginnis sustained a painful accident last week while scuffling with his brother a blade of a knife entered the centre of his right side medical aid was provided and he recovered at home as reported.

Lost A Foot After Car Jumping Near Depot

Cornelius Young 12, son of Mrs Ida Young and grandson of P O Armenbrout, was crushed when run over by a car while jumping on and off moving vehicles near the C A depot Saturday morning. Doctors Manning Hall Hardin and Harris amputated the foot just above the ankle. He is doing nicely despite great pain and the accident is described as a natural outcome of such play and a lesson to others.
