Mrs Hornbeck the widow and L J Hornbeck arrived with the body. Funeral is expected today at the Methodist church with burial in Miami cemetery. He was born on a farm near Miami and the family relocated after his father died. Mrs Hornbeck later moved to Nebraska to join her children. William B Diggs longtime Bayne resident dies after a long illness at Arrow Rock home aged 84. Survived by wife and seven children. Mrs B E Davidson of Marshall among mourners.
Dr J T Mitchell, 65, prominent Kansas City physician and longtime Mason, died of pneumonia after a week of illness. Brother of local Dr Mitchell, funeral held Sunday afternoon in the city with Rev J W Mitchell in attendance as part of Masonic rites.

Rufus Holoway, very sick for a month, is getting better and expects to be out soon.
