Official Saline county tallies show Democrats trailing by about 2000, with Roosevelt 225 votes and Parker 3710 in earlier counts. Republicans appear set to win Missouri statewide, Hadley leading, and potential US Senator outcome uncertain. Statewide figures to follow next week.
Reports indicate a heavy vote backing the Republican leader Taft across multiple regions. Early tallies suggest a decisive edge for Taft, signaling strong party support and momentum heading into subsequent contests.
California returns early Wednesday show Taft carrying the state by about 75,000 with Republicans poised for a large majority in the Senate and Assembly. San Francisco votes give Taft a 9,000 to 10,000 edge. statewide Republican gains estimated, while other states report mixed results and Bryan gains in Maryland.
Unofficial early counts released this morning at 10 o'clock show Missouri’s electoral vote going to Taft by roughly 5000. Hadley leads with about 15000, and all state officers are reported elected on the Republican ticket.
