Mrs M H Kennedy widow of Dr J M Kennedy died Sunday February 12 1911 at the home of her daughter Mrs John L McNatt in Aurora Missouri. Once injured by a fall over a year ago she had been frail and her death attributed to old age rather than acute illness. She was 74 years 4 months and 16 days old and formerly lived near Elmwood with many relatives and friends in the community. A brother W C Hall resides in this city and a son J L Kennedy lives here Sweet Springs Herald.

Mrs Walter Dickerson died at her home near Cretcher on Saturday February 18 aged about 30. The death was due to an attack of influenza. Funeral services were held at Antioch on Sunday at 1 o clock amid a stormy day. The children were taken to her brother Mr Brown’s home. Mrs Dickerson’s father is dead and her mother remains in Kansas.
