Death of Wm. Taylor in Marshall area funeral planned
Wm. Taylor late of Kansas City died at 2 15 a m on February 15 at his ally in law Mrs Jesse W Ervine home in Marshall. He had heart trouble and had lived with his wife and child since moving here. The funeral was held at the Ervine residence Tuesday at 2 pm with Ridge Park cemetery to receive burial. Wharton will conduct the services. Relatives present include Mrs Boling of Oklahoma, Mrs Gibson of Kansas City, and Mr John Steele of Corder.

Andy Donehoe, about 40, died at his Slater home on Tuesday February 17 from ptomaine poisoning after eating cave oysters. His brother by marriage, Jesse Ham ex sheriff of Saline county, also ate the same oysters and has been very ill but shows slight improvement. The men ate Monday night and fell ill shortly after. Mr Ham is hoped to recover.
