Death of Morris Hardin After Horse Accident Near Miami
Morris Hardin aged about ten, son of Mr and Mrs W P Hardin of six miles east of Miami, died after being dragged by a horse when his foot caught in a stirrup. He had been riding to water a threshing crew cart and attempted to drink from a jug. The horse bolted, throwing him sideways and pulling him to death before medical aid could arrive. Funeral planned at Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs A Nightwine died July 2 at her home northeast of Sweet Spring at an advanced age after a heart condition. Survived by husband and a large family, mourners extend sympathy. Funeral services were at 9:39 a.m. Thursday at the home, burial in Goshen Cemetery.

Arrest Report: Deputy Sheriff Detains Patterson in Check Fraud
