S A Foree aged 75 10 months died Monday at his son Tobe Foree’s home 43 W Morgan. Survived by wife and four children. Funeral at Blackburn Tuesday. CHAS Logsdon died at his mother’s Marshall home on Porter Street Thursday aged 30 after a long illness from a paralytic stroke. He leaves four brothers and two sisters, wife and mother. Eid B T Wharton conducted the Blackburn funeral Saturday. burial in Blackburn cemetery.

Inmate Riley Grant Dies at the Colony at 45
Riley Grant died of epilepsy at the Colony on April 1st after six years as an inmate. He managed the shoe repairing shop and was noted for his health between seizures. EDNA TOLLEY, a 12 year old inmate, also died of epilepsy on Friday.

Alva Berg Dies at 64 in College Addition
Alva Berg died at his home in College Addition on Tuesday April 18 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife and three children. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday at 3 30 conducted by Rev Faris, with remains then taken to Corder by the family.

E B Winslow Dead at Chandler Oklahoma
E B Winslow died in Chandler Oklahoma on Monday April 17 at age 35. His remains were moved to Shackelford and placed with his father W S Winslow two miles north of Shackelford. Funeral services were at Union Church Thursday at 11 oclock. Burial followed in Union. Word reached here that E B Camel died April 6 at the Soldiers Home in Leavenworth Kansas and was buried there on April 7. Camel was well known and loved in this city which had been his home.

Colored youths held after purse theft in Odessa
Had the money Chas Hayes and Will Lewis aged 17 and 19, both colored, Marshall home, in jail at Lexington. William A. Young, a Chicago traveling man, lost his purse on the Red Flyer near Odessa and suspected the youths, had them arrested. $100 of the $150 lost was found. They will face trial after time to reflect.

Fisher Couple Celebrate 35th Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs J M Fisher observed their 35th wedding anniversary at their home one mile east of Miami on Tuesday afternoon April 11. About 40 friends and relatives attended as Fisher, born in Virginia and long-time Missouri farmer, and his wife Virginia Casebolt, married at 27, marked the milestone with a meal of sandwiches salad ice cream and cake. Their 13 children include 9 living and 6 grandchildren. Two witnesses to the original ceremony Barry Wheeler and Pete Casebolt attended. After prayers Bro Powell gave thanks as guests enjoyed cake and music, with ring and needle games during dessert.

Fire devastates business district in Bunceton Missouri
At 11 o’clock a fire destroyed the business part of Bunceton Missouri. The Missouri Pacific depot also caught fire and is doomed. Telegraph and telephone lines are burned making communication with the town impossible. Bunceton, a town of about 100 people, lies sixteen miles south of Boonville in Cooper County.

Receipts of cattle were moderate early in the week with Monday and Tuesday about 10 cents higher. Today the market declined 10 to 15 cents on most beef cattle, top for heavy cattle around 6.00, butcher stock steady. Hog prices fell to the lowest in over two years with packers paying 6.05 to 6.15 for heavy hogs and 6.20 to 6.25 for choice lights. shippers paid 6.35 to 6.40. Top 6.45 for some prime lights.
