Mrs Lavinia Marmaduke Bruce died at her El Paso home after being notified by telegram on Tuesday evening. Former resident with many old friends, she is survived by two sons whose graves lie in Decatur where the funeral was held Thursday. Dr Wm Harris and wife traveled to attend.

Tornado Kills Eight In Oklahoma Town
A tornado struck Big Heart, fifteen miles south of Pawhuska, killing eight and injuring 25 to 30 as it swept the town clean, leaving only one building standing. Three bodies named as recovered: John Kenns, Fred Hammond, and William Marlowe. The town with about 500 residents was devastated.
