Friday assembly featured talks by Mr Hall assistant state superintendent and Mr Lich liter. Miss Minnie Robertson sang with Prof Place. An Art Exhibit opens today with items on display on second and third floors. admission ten cents for students fifteen cents for others, parents admitted free. First floor shows grade school drawings and paintings. Baseball team travels with limited facilities but schedules include practice games against M V C second team. Athenians Sophomore Literary Society presented music and a farce The Jack Trust with strong performances by Lonnie Lahue Catherine Jester Virginia Young Nell Newton Mildred Taylor and Gladys Fultz. program praised as a success.

C L Reppenhagen of Kansas City drove his 20 horsepower International Auto Buggy 115 miles in seven hours on a muddy route Monday. The machine cost about $200, and he urges former friends not to block an approaching auto as horses will not scare in mud.
