Mrs Virginia Dorothy Dies in Springfield Heart Trouble
Mrs Dorothy died at her home in Springfield Missouri Monday evening from heart trouble. Her remains were brought to Marshall and placed with her parents Mr and Mrs John Thomas of Eastwood Avenue. Funeral services were held yesterday. She is survived by her husband and daughter Virginia Drew, three brothers and four sisters. The family has suffered two prior deaths in two years. Mrs Dorothy and her husband are actors and were in Springfield for the winter.

William Houston Jack Jr., prominent cartoonist and newspaperman formerly with the Pueblo Star-Journal, died near Napton on March 2. Born December 7, 1872 in Natchitoches, he married Misa Rebecca Kennedy in October 1902 and leaves three children. He was active in politics in Colorado and Louisiana. his remains lie in Natchitoches beside his mother.
