A new twenty two foot well at the A Rowan farm gravel pit near the main road was completed on Saturday morning. It reached water at St Gin and is capable of supplying over 2500 gallons per hour with expectations to exceed that. Local businessmen financed the project and plans may begin this week for the creamery.
