Golden Age Group Meet at Miniota Centre
The Golden Age group met at the Miniota Community Centre on Wednesday September 16 with nine tables in use for whist. Rev J Maxwell led a sing song on piano. Birthday greetings were given to several members and a National Film Board film Golden Age was shown. Thirty six members and visitors attended. a tea followed and planning for a proper case for the secretary’s books was approved. The next meeting will be in Miniota on October 21.

The A C W met at Mrs L Horner home on September 14 with nine members present. Mission bases were sent to Wabowden Manitoba and wool ordered for knitting. A fifty dollar donation was given to the Community Centre for new tables. The annual bazaar date was set and the next meeting will be at Mrs Ed Wad ham's home on October 19.

United Church Women Meet at MINICTA September Session
Eight members gathered at Mrs. C. Armitage's home for the September United Church Women meeting. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and the treasurer reported funds. Letters from Victor R. Bow and the Senior Citizens Home welcomed and invited participation in anniversary events. Proceeds from recent bake sale totaled 113.85 for Centennial project. Upcoming fowl suppers set for October 20 and November 1. Bible study by Mr. Bob Kayes preceded lunch. next meeting October 15 at Mrs. Gordon Long's.

Miss Jean Morrice of Winnipeg visited her mother Mrs. J Morrice over the weekend. Mrs. Collie learned of her sister Mrs. B Tait’s passing in Codette Sask and will attend the funeral in Regina. Winnipeg visitors include Mr and Mrs D Johnson and Mrs Gardham. A round of visits continues among local families with residents hosting relatives and friends from Oak River Swift Current Napinka Uno and Kenton. Mrs. Catto discharged from hospital.
