Roberta Young is employed at present as Nurse's Aid in Birtle Hospital. Littie Alison Brown of Edmonton is visiting with her uncle and aunt, Mr and Mrs Murray Pell. Patricia Attwood has been engaged to teach at a school at Inglis. The sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs J Chapman and family in the death of a dearly loved husband and Dad. Mr Chapman passed away at Hamiota Hospital on Wednesday September 4th following a lengthy illness. Mrs John Ollman and daughter Debby of Medicine Hat are visiting with her parents, Mr and Mrs A Adams. Noreen Adams of Brandon spent the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs A Adams. Mr and Mrs J F M Johnston of Victoria B C visited with friends in the district during the past week. Members of the family who were recent visitors with their parents, Mr and Mrs R Scarth included Mr and Mrs Cliff Holdsworth, Mr and Mrs Robert Scarth and family, Mr and Mrs Barry Scarth and family, all of Winnipeg, Mr and Mrs W Kelly and family Pearson, Mr and Mrs R Scarth Jr have returned from Syracuse New York where Bob took a year’s Post Graduate work at Syracuse University following his Masters Degree.
