Odd Fellows Gather in Winnipeg for Special Trip Parade

At a late Wednesday night staff meeting three visitors entered the Herald offices. Two women and one man toured the plant, viewed the printing area, and joked with staff. The incident disrupted plans and ruined an otherwise pleasant evening with the orchestra at Turner's hall.

Threshing started today on the fell south of town with James Boyce first to commence operations nearby. Archie Kerr and Robie Poe are set to begin this week, and machines will be moving into next week. The initial grain sample is only about two northern, possibly due to green cut, but quality should improve as the season advances.
