The board notes motions adopting August 26 1963 minutes receiving correspondence approving travel payments selecting teachers for 1963 64 and increasing Route 11 pay retroactively to September 16 1963. It also authorizes payments to Zone 10 Athletic Association and fixes salaries per agreements for listed teachers across multiple schools. Meeting adjourned to October 15 1983.
Ho Yu Ming, a 13 year old in Hong Kong, writes the C G I T group via Foster Parents Plan. She reports school progress, exams with top marks in science and conduct, and thanks sponsors for HK$45 and HK$25 gifts plus clothing. She will continue at the same primary school’s junior high. She notes monthly support of HK$16.00.
In a sequence of matches, Miniota girls triumphed over Kenton in a three game set while Miniota boys lost. Later at Hamiota both Miniota teams were defeated. Miniota Collegiate students held a car wash October 19 raising 27.50 and thanked all supporters.

A Beulah Hall social evening on October 22 featured a Ward Spelling Contest elimination with Jim Benn winning and Janice Morgan as runner up. Beulah Eaton Twirlers performed under Mrs Lyttle and Mr Zelewsky, Kathy Barker sang, and Mr Cruden was honored for over twenty years as janitor with a wrist watch presentation. The event closed with the film Bambi.
Crandall students participated in the Grade 12 graduation exercises at Birtle on Saturday evening October 26 with several graduates named among the attendees.
Sharon Merle Dagg daughter of Mr and Mrs John Dagg and Robert Edward Attwood son of Mr and Mrs William Attwood were married at Isabella United Church on October 12 1963 Rev J Sloan officiated The couple left for the U S A to travel home to Isabella District will be their new residence The ceremony featured Ford Wiggins singing and Mrs R Scarth on organ The bride wore white peau de soie with a jeweled crown veil and carried a cascade bouquet Guests included maid of honor June Rittaler and best man Bruce Dagg Two hundred guests attended the reception at Isabella hall with a three tier cake and tapers The couple will reside in the Isabella District.
Mrs. R Campbell visited relatives in Winnipeg and Brandon during the past week. Hospital Auxiliaries Annual Meeting drew a fair crowd at the Prince Edward Hotel Brandon. Mr Hutchings Bran don spoke on Manitoba Medical Service with a thorough explanation and a lively Q and A. Church services begin Sunday at 11 30 am for winter months. Misses Rose and Marion Wright of Winnipeg spent the weekend with the Wrights. Mrs D Wright returned home. Visits from Mr Sid Riches of Carberry and Mr Cliff Drummond of Winnipeg occurred. Mrs R E Doran attends a W I Leadership School at Brandon Home-making School.

Mary Ann Kostenuk of Toronto visits Brandon and Miniota families. A Wynona Club bazaar raised 130 dollars with a waist measurement contest. Congratulations to spellers Jim Benn and Janice Morgan. The United Church anniversary service featured Rev. Ken Beal. UNICEF collection by Explorers set for Thursday. Local anniversaries include Mr and Mrs Mart Powell, Mr and Mrs Reg Bryant, and Mr and Mrs Allan Armitage. An ACT program and Manitoba Medical Plan meeting are planned.
