Change in ownership saves The Herald for Miniota readers
The Miniota Herald will continue under new ownership after the editor and office staff could not keep the paper running. Fred Venables of Hamiota Echo will take over printing and publishing, starting with the November 7 issue. The October 31 issue will be the last under the current editor who served four decades, thanking subscribers and merchants for support and urging continued local engagement.
