Miss G Wilson traveled to Virden to reside and Miss Wilson was honored at a farewell party hosted by Mrs U Day.

Girl Guides offer four winter sewing courses for juniors to seniors under Extension service. Weekly film show fills the hall with Red Wagon last week and Fighting Champ next week with Bob Steele. Daughter of England Lodge held a whist drive and dance with 17 tables. prizes went to Miss M Jackson Ruth Oliver and Bernard Leary A E Aspinwall. The event closed with dancing to The Merrymakers and MC J Desmond. A quilt and raffle fan display were also present.

Rural Council Minutes From Miniota District Meet
The rural council met in Miniota on Saturday to approve penalties on certain taxes and rental actions. Various motions set road land payments, building rents, grazing leases, and insurance on municipal property, with notices to vacate unsatisfied tenants. The meeting also approved pension applications and scheduled the next session for Wednesday November 7.
