Fifteen years ago Hawthorne and 8S Taylor built home additions while Hank and Dick Cusack left for Reston to enter a trade. Myrtie Conwey led prizes at the Boys and Girls Fair. Jas Boyce broke his right arm after a plank slip on Main Street. Wm Leland won five first prizes at Oak River Fair for his pure bred stock.
