Truman quips on race cars and Canadians during by election chatter

A column blends late 1960s world politics with Canadian by election signs and media jibes. It notes Harry Truman’s provocative remark on Negro automobile ownership, jabs at Winnipeg sports writers, a Canada USA financial anecdote, flag design debates, and Mayor Juba in Beatle-style photos with satiric asides on politicians and symbols. It ends with a quip about Khrushchev’s weapon boast and a closing tease for a St Regis gathering.
