Radio bulletin reports the dissolution of the Baldwin government and plans for a united Liberal Party led by George and Asquith. The anticipated downfall follows long-foreseen political shifts and a radio special by Mr Hoddett.
A wedding at the Elliott home in Arrow River on November 7 joined Marion Watts to Purcivale Watts of Miniota. The ceremony preceded a formal dinner and a honeymoon departure to Virden, with plans to settle in Miniota. The bride wore white Canton Crepe and a pearl necklace. the groom’s gift included a onyx bracelet for his sister. Best wishes from the community were extended to the couple.
